AG Bell wants to welcome all deaf and hard of hearing teens to the LOFT program, but recognizes that families with a child who is deaf or hard of hearing may have additional financial pressures. Teens who would like to attend LOFT may apply for a scholarship to help offset the costs of attending the program. Learn more about the scholarship and download an application here. The number and amount of scholarships is dependent upon funding.
Scholarships for the LOFT program are intended to assist families with some costs associated with participation in the program. Depending on the availability of funds, the number of applications received, and the indication of the family’s financial need, scholarship recipients may receive a scholarship for one or both of the following:
- Program Fee ($875)
- Roundtrip Airfare
All costs not covered by the scholarship will be the responsibility of the family.
Please complete one application per teen applying for a scholarship. In order to be considered for LOFT scholarship, a LOFT Program Application must also be submitted.
A separate recommendation must be submitted for your scholarship application. You can find the instructions in the Scholarship Recommendation PDF.
